How it works
HTML5 control screens
For HTML5 (control or IoT-browser) applications, a webkit browser is automatically configured to mimic the device/screen. Recording a use case in Appvance Designer (or writing a script in several different languages) results in tests constructed to run including functional UX-level performance, API-level load, business logic driven app-penetration, DDoS security and others…all from the same use case.
For all devices, over 20 scripting languages are supported for coders. Even easier is an automatic script generator for rapid creation of use cases (scripts). The Appvance proxy service captures all communications to and from IoT devices over its expected network and the servers.
That data is used to create a complex data-driven, auto-correlated HAR file script which is used to simulate up to millions of concurrent devices with the Appvance platform. Appvance UTP drives functional, performance, scalability and critical security tests—all without writing a line of code.
